2. What we collect
- Account information (email, name)
- Food logs and nutrition data you enter
- Photos you choose to upload for food recognition
- Device type and app usage patterns
- If connected: Apple Health data (read only)
3. How we use your data
- To provide nutrition tracking and AI coaching features
- To generate personalized insights and recommendations
- To improve the app and its AI models
- We never sell your data to third parties
4. AI and third-party processing
- AI features use OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google APIs
- Your food data may be sent to these services to generate responses. No personally identifiable information is shared beyond what is needed for the feature.
- We use RevenueCat for subscription management
- We use Supabase for secure data storage
5. How long we keep your data
- Your data is stored as long as your account is active
- You can delete your account and all data at any time from Settings → Privacy → Delete Account

7. Cookies
The Rót app doesn’t use cookies. The coach portal (getrot.app) uses only session cookies for authentication.
